Indian mobile phones market is booming thanks to the intense competition between international players as well as local manufacturers. This is giving lots of options to the users with devices varying from just Rs. 5000 to even Rs. 50000. This also means that out of a multitude of choices, only few brands and models will stand out amongst the consumers. Price comparison website 91mobiles has done research on the users to find the Top 20 Mobile Phones searched by them in the month of September.
This gives lots of interesting insights into what users look for in mobile phones, before making a purchase. The first thing that matters to the user before buying is to decide a budget and if we look at the survey results, it suggests that consumers are open to purchase even high end phones like Galaxy Note 3; Apple iPhone 5, etc.
What’s more fascinating is that people are already interested in some upcoming smartphones like Apple iPhone 5S, even before its official launch.
Talking about the brands and change of position of their models, Samsung’s Galaxy series still leads most of the searches.
Sony follows it closely, and its recently released smartphone Xperia M saw the biggest jump from 23rd spot in the previous month to 8. Other new models in the list include Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Apple iPhone 5S and Nokia’s biggest screen WP ever- Lumia 625.
