Ever thought about the stress linked with sending Files through your phone to a friend,colleague or classmate?if Yes then i think the WhatsApp File Sharing update is what you must have being waiting for. This update which was released of recent would let users send PDF files through the largest chat app in the world( For now). Though the company hasn’t yet made an official announcement, a number of WhatsApp users have seen the feature pop up alongside other sharing options, like photo or video sharing, contact sharing, or location sharing, for example.
The Feature would be working fully on both the Android and iOS Device.When you initiate a chat, or receive a message on Android, You can click on the Attachment icon and then, new document icon that appears. (To make room for the option on the pop-up window, WhatsApp compressed “Photo” and “Video” sharing options into one “Camera” option instead.)
On iOS, you access this by clicking on the arrow icon in the chat and then select “Share documents” from the menu that pops up.
At launch, users are able to select documents from cloud storage services including Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, and others, but the feature is unfortunately limited to only PDF files at this time.
As regards the security of files being sent on the platform, WhatsApp has made us to understand that all files are secure and protected as they invested end-to-end encryption on its network.
This Feature is available on the Android,iOS Operating System. No Update yet for window users.
