I tell you this for free, 50% of how I learned to drive an automatic was from my exposure to the Dr. Driving game series. The Dr. Driving game teaches you how to use your trafficator’s lights, when to use caution, brake timing, and even how to turn and park. I still play the game.
The developers of Dr. Driving also created Dr. Parking 4, which is one of the best games for teaching proper parking, even in tight spaces. Dr. Parking 4 is a simulation game that takes you through different career modes until you master the art of parking perfectly. The game is available on iOS and Android game stores.
How to Supercharge Your Car Parking Skills with Dr. Parking 4 Game

First, this isn’t guaranteed: the game controls don’t match your car’s dashboard, and the steering feels different from your actual car. But it is a simulation game, so it only provides insights into how to park your car in different parking spots and tight spaces.
1. Learn the Sides to Steer Backward
It can be confusing where to steer if you’re to park to your right or left; if the parking space is on your right and it’s a tight space, you would want to steer a bit to the left, before making a full steer to the right and then to the left when you’re already inside the parking space for balance.
With Dr. Parking 4, you will learn how to steer backwards and the timing to switch your steering to get into a parking space. You’re going to crash a couple of times practicing on this game, but that’s only part of the game – you ain’t crashing any real cars, and now you know how not to park, so you don’t crash an actual car when driving in real life.
2. Understand Your Gears Better
If you’re still new to driving and not familiar with the gear symbols (P, R, N, D, Dr.), the Parking 4 game will help you get familiar with them.
For parking, if you’re doing a reverse park, your gear should be in the R position, you might occasionally switch it back to D, and then back to R to fit the car perfectly into the provided parking space, then finally put it in P (Park) when you have successfully parked the car.
3. Learn Different Parking Methods
There’s reverse parking, there’s forward parking, and there’s parallel parking. Dr. Parking 4 takes you through all these different parking styles.
There are more than 50 parking levels in the game. Each time you excel in one, you get to try a much harder parking style, and it keeps getting harder as you climb the ladder.
What More?

The entire game is about parking a car in a marked space across different parking lots. It sure gets tougher as the levels climb; if you really beat the game to levels 30 and above, you won’t find it difficult parking an actual car in real life. You can install the game from the Android and iOS app stores.
